Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
CloudyCases is operated by Remchii LLC ("CloudyCases," "we," "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse CloudyCases.com, place an order, subscribe to our emails or contact us. It also explains how to contact us about your information.
1. Information we collect
The information we receive depends on how you interact with our store. You can browse without creating an account, but we need certain information to process an order or answer a request.
- Contact and delivery information: your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and telephone number when supplied for an order, delivery or support.
- Order and transaction information: products, designs, device models, quantities, prices, discounts, payment status, transaction references, shipment tracking, returns and refund history.
- Payment information: payment providers collect and process payment credentials through checkout. We receive transaction confirmations and limited payment details needed for order administration; please never send us a full card number or security code by email.
- Account information: account identifiers, saved contact details, preferences and order history when you use an account or a checkout service that makes these features available.
- Communications: the contents of messages, contact-form submissions, support correspondence, and photos you send to document a product problem.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, page interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, and shopping activity collected by Shopify or other technologies used to operate the store.
- Marketing preferences: whether you subscribed, unsubscribed or selected privacy and cookie preferences, together with related consent records.
We receive information directly from you, from your browser or device, and from service providers involved in checkout, payment processing, fulfillment and delivery. If you provide somebody else's delivery details, only provide information you are authorized to use for that order.
2. How we use information
- Accept and administer orders, verify payment, prepare and ship your selected products, provide tracking, and handle returns, replacements and refunds.
- Answer questions, investigate delivery or quality problems, and keep a record of the assistance we provide.
- Operate and secure the store, remember shopping preferences, troubleshoot errors and identify suspicious or unauthorized transactions.
- Understand store performance and improve the shopping experience using available analytics and applicable consent settings.
- Send order-related messages and, when permitted, promotional emails you have chosen to receive. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential order or account messages.
- Maintain business records, comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use a support photo as advertising or a testimonial without separate permission. Please crop out unnecessary personal information before sending a photo.
3. Shopify, payment and fulfillment partners
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information needed to provide the storefront, checkout, account, payment and related services. If you use Shop, Shop Pay or another service offered directly by Shopify, its processing is also described in Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy. You can visit Shopify's privacy portal to exercise rights relating to processing for which Shopify is responsible.
Where Shopify's enhanced services are used, Shopify may use information about interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide personalization, analytics, advertising and other improvements. This processing depends on the services in use and applicable privacy choices. Shopify's own privacy policy explains that processing and the choices it provides.
We use Printify and its production partners to prepare and fulfill orders. We provide the order details and delivery information needed to manufacture, package and ship your order, and information needed to investigate a fulfillment issue. Shipping carriers receive the delivery details required for transport and tracking. See Printify's Privacy Policy for information about its practices.
Payment providers and digital wallets process transactions under their own terms and privacy notices. The payment options available for your order are displayed at checkout.
4. Other disclosures
We may disclose information to providers that help operate the store, provide communications, maintain records or offer professional services, where needed for their work. We may also disclose information to comply with a valid legal obligation; protect customers, our business or others from fraud or security threats; resolve a dispute; or in connection with a lawful business transfer. Any successor handling personal information remains subject to applicable privacy requirements.
We do not trade customer contact lists for money. Certain advertising or analytics disclosures may nevertheless be defined as a "sale," "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws. Where those rights apply, you can request an opt-out using the methods below. These legal terms can cover exchanges that do not involve payment.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and related technologies help keep items in a cart, operate checkout, remember preferences, maintain security, and measure or personalize a shopping experience. Essential technologies support functions you request. Analytics and advertising technologies have different purposes and are subject to applicable consent requirements.
Where a cookie banner or Cookie preferences control is displayed, use it to review or change your choices. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout, login or preference-saving from working correctly. Choices may need to be repeated on another browser or device, or after clearing browser storage.
If a data-sharing opt-out link is displayed, you can use it to submit that choice. You may also email us to request an opt-out or help accessing the available controls. Applicable recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, must be handled as required by law. A general browser Do Not Track setting is not necessarily the same as a legally recognized opt-out signal.
6. Promotional messages
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us. We may keep a limited suppression record so that your unsubscribe choice continues to be respected. Joining an email list is optional and is not required to buy a case. Order, delivery, security and other necessary service messages may still be sent.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy, including completing orders, managing customer service, retaining accounting and tax records, responding to disputes and complying with legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, the relationship with you, mandatory retention periods and whether information is needed for an unresolved issue. Deletion requests are subject to those requirements.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle, including access controls and the security features available through our service providers. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not email passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
8. International processing
CloudyCases is operated in the United States. Shopify and other providers may process information in the United States, Canada and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, the relevant transfer must use a recognized legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual protections. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your request.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access your information; receive a portable copy; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Rights are not absolute, and legal exceptions can apply.
Email hello@cloudycases.com with the subject "Privacy request" and describe what you would like us to do. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. Please start with the email address used for the order, rather than sending identity documents or sensitive details. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Where you have a right to appeal our decision, reply to the response with "Privacy appeal" and explain the basis of the appeal. You may also contact your applicable privacy regulator. EEA and UK residents may complain to their local supervisory authority; UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. EEA and UK legal bases
Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, we process information as necessary to perform a contract or take steps you request before a contract, such as handling an order; comply with a legal obligation, such as tax recordkeeping; pursue legitimate interests, such as store security and resolving customer questions, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; or act on consent where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
11. Children and third-party links
Our store is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request assistance. Purchases by minors must be made with any permission required by applicable law.
Links to outside services do not make us responsible for those services' privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the store, practices or legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will give additional notice where legally required. For questions or privacy requests, contact:
